J.V. Dell, Jr
J.V. (“Jay”) Dell, Jr. is a solo practitioner in Greensboro, GA with the law firm of J.V. Dell, PC. He received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, at Walter F. George School of Law, Mercer University in 1994 and B.S. from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1990.  While at Mercer he was on the Mercer Law Review and co-editor of the 1993-1994 Articles edition.

Jay is a past President of the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit Bar Association.  He served on the Executive Committee of the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia from 2006 – 2012 and was chairman of the Residential Real Estate Closings Committee for the 2011 – 2012 fiscal year.  He was a member of the Board of Trustees for the First United Methodist Church of Greensboro from 2010 – 2012 and the Vice Chair of the Administrative Board for the First United Methodist Church of Greensboro from 2012 – 2014.  Jay is a member of the Rotary Club of Greene/Putnam County, Georgia and has been a member of the Greene and Putnam County Chambers of Commerce since 2010.  Jay was  voted affiliate of the year by the Lake Country Board of Realtors and voted the best attorney in the Lake Country.

Jay is a member of State Bar of Georgia; Court of Appeals of Georgia; Supreme Court of Georgia; U.S. District Court of Georgia (Northern and Middle Districts); Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit Bar Association; and Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia

Ford Jones IVFord Jones IV is an associate attorney with J.V. Dell P.C. Mr. Jones earned his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center (J.D., 2016), where he was a member of the Georgetown Journal of Law & Public Policy. Mr. Jones has been published in the Georgetown Journal of Law & Public Policy and has received Dean’s List Honors and a Cali Award for highest marks in Contracts. During his time in Washington D.C., Ford was active in numerous Pro Bono opportunities, becoming an Exceptional Pro Bono Pledge Honoree at Georgetown Law, the highest public service honor bestowed on its graduates. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Jones attended the University of Georgia where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in 2013.

During law school, Mr. Jones held numerous positions at the highest levels of federal and state government. During his first year of law school, Ford worked in the Office of Legal Counsel for the Governor of Wisconsin and presidential candidate, Scott Walker. Ford also worked on complex policy, rulemaking, and procurement issues during his time with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration.

Mr. Jones is admitted to practice in the State of Georgia, the Supreme Court of the State of Georgia, the Court of Appeals of the State of Georgia, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
