The Greene County Chamber Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony was held on April 11, 2016 at the Ritz Calrton Reynolds, Lake Oconee.  Congrats to the winners in the following catagories:

J.V. Dell Sponsors Heart and Soul Gala

GREENSBORO, Ga. – January 22, 2016 – Jay and Angela Dell and Jay’s law firm, J.V. Dell, PC, recently signed on to be a Supporting Sponsor of the 2016 Heart & Soul Gala benefiting St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital. Jay graduated from Georgia Tech in Atlanta and then Mercer Law School in Macon, where he practiced law for five years. He moved to the Greene County area in 2000 after opening his own law firm at the lake, J.V. Dell, PC. He has worked in and supported the community for more than 15 years. He and Angela were married in 2005, and together they have two children, Austin, 8, and Morgan, 6, who both attend Lake Oconee Academy. Jay has another son, Garrett, who is a freshman at Clemson University. Angela was born and raised in the lake area. She attended college at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville and worked at various marketing and public relations jobs around the lake. She currently works with Jay at his law firm and is involved in many community support/charity groups. The Dells attend Greensboro First United Methodist Church and Jay served as Chairman of the Church Council from 2014-2015. He currently serves as Director to the Greene County Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Rotary Club of Greene/Putnam County. “We recently moved to Greene County from Putnam County,” Jay noted. “We both believe that it is important to give back to our community. The Gala is a great way of giving back. The hospital is a vital part of the community and provides tremendous benefit to all citizens of Greene County and the lake area.”

Jay has a general practice of law, with emphasis on real estate; wills, trust & probate; and business/corporate law. He served for six years on the State Bar Association’s Real Property Law Section and was President and Vice President of the local bar association. He is generously donating hours of personal consultation for estate planning as a silent auction item at the gala. “Jay and Angela are very involved and dedicated community members,” said Riezl Baker, gala event chair and foundation board member. “The Foundation Board and gala committee are deeply appreciative for their support of the Gala and Good Samaritan Hospital.” The Heart and Soul Gala will be held at The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee on Feb. 13, 2016.
